How to connect to virtual COM?

Hello!! The delivered program has a virtual com port. How to connect to it? I just
tried it through the terminal, the program occupies this port itself ... I tried
to set modems to zero, but they set their own com ports ... I tried to delete this port (software) instead of setting the virtual null modem port, but the program does not accept the port from it stupidly gives an error .
Whether there are means which allow to put "the connecting port" separately?
