How to connect to remote MySQL database from local machine?
There is software on the local machine and a MySQL database on shared hosting, in which information is stored. It is necessary to organize a stable connection to the database from the local area. The whole problem is that the local machine can be installed from different providers or even transferred (laptop), IP is constantly changing and in the lists of white IP bases you constantly have to delete old IP locales and add new ones.
I decided to try to do it through an intermediate server. On the trial AWS EC2, I set up a server on Ubuntu with a static IP, and then I don’t know what to do. Tell me step by step how to proceed further or good instructions for setting up.
