How to connect to Mongo database from Vue.js?

Is it possible to connect to the database from the front? I am a backend developer, I recently started writing a diploma on the frontend, there is a monga database with data, I connect to it through the compass, I need to make a request from the view to this database, there is no access to the backend, the api was not done. Is it possible to get data directly from the db in vue?
