How to connect to IBM Virtual Server?

I created a virtual server on softlayer.com, Ubuntu is running on the server, the KVM Console provided by them directly in the browser does not work, despite the fact that I have Java installed and there are no problems with the browser. When I try to connect directly via SSH, the server asks me for a password, but none of the ones I enter accept, what's wrong? I dug into the reference materials, but understood little and did not find an answer to the question.
