How to connect optics (sfp +) to the router via a switch?

In general, there is an edgerouter pro, in which at the moment both sfp ports are occupied by two different providers, one of which needs to be replaced with a different third provider, but connected via sfp + since the corresponding speed is needed.
The question is, is it possible to connect a cable from a third provider (optics) to an L3 switch, and already connect a router from it, do I need a specific switch for this, and actually how to set it all up?

You buy a media converter from optics to copper, of this kind:

And plug it into the switch, the main thing is that the sfp module in it should be suitable for the one on the other end.

but connect via sfp + because you need the appropriate speed.

SFP + is up to 10 Gb / s - you hardly need such a speed
SFP - up to 1 Gb / s - quite enough for the provider
So put a regular media converter under spf and take it to gigabit copper
