How to connect one VPS to the second one?

There are 2 VPS servers. One - fast, the second - with a large amount of memory, but alas, there is old hardware.

Is it possible to somehow connect the second server as a folder on the first server, so that later I can deploy hosting on the first server, storing files on the second server.

Well, merge by vpn, then raise NFS or webdav.
But yes, the second one will stop being fast, because. the file will be taken via the Internet

Can. First, connect the first with the second "internal VPN", then hook the second to the first via smb/nfs/webdav/something else.
But the download speed of the file will be equal to the speed of the second one, and something will also be spent on the VPN and transport protocol headers.
So-so idea in general.
