How to connect internet on debian 6?

I have wifi asus rt-n10p and a wire is connected to my computer. There is internet on windows 7, but not on debian 6. Please help.

look at the list of available interfaces
in /etc/network/interfaces add a line from the one found
if the first command says nothing but lo, see what hardware is there
and install the necessary drovin

Well, first you need to put firewood on your wifi computer module, and there are no telepaths here to find out what kind of equipment you have there, then you have cards in your hands, and the model of your wifi router is not needed for this absolute.
And if it's easier - then learn the mat. part, the debian wiki is probably already akin to the bible in size.
