How to connect GIT from Google Code to NetBeans?

Hello! Actually the problem is clear from a question. I will describe my actions:
- I created a project
- I chose "Git" -> "Clone repository" in the menu
- I specified the address to the project, login, password, local storage.
- I make commits through the IDE, everything is ok locally, nothing appears in google code, the repository is empty
What am I doing wrong?

In order for the files to get into the google code repository, you first need to "Push" it:
"Top menu -> Group -> Remote -> Push ..."
And then actually select the desired branch!
