There is a server. It starts from an ESXI flash drive, which already starts the OS on the server (windows). The question is how to connect an external HDD to the server in the vSphere client interface so that the OS can see it. ?

Connect an external drive to the server via USB.
In the virtual machine settings, connect a virtual USB controller, then add a USB device to this controller. Download server. The disk should appear in the guest system.
