How to connect Composer in PhpStorm while working with a remote server (VDS)?

I am working on phpstorm 10 and recently decided to learn Laravel and needed to use Composer. Remotely through the Kitty terminal, it is clear how to work with it. But I saw that PhpStorm has Composer support, where you can start installing components from Composer.
Only I understand that this only works if the server is running on the same computer where Storm is, or can it be done with a remote server as well?
Now I'm working with a folder on a regular PC with Win and just pressing Ctrl + S goes autoupload to VDS. Therefore, I would like to be able to work with the composer from a regular PC, and the commands would go remotely.

Tools: Start SSH session: composer install.

It turns out that a similar ticket on jetbrains has been created for two years. And the function of remote control of the composer, apparently, has not yet been implemented.
