How to connect an additional domain as an alias in Google Apps?

I have a Google Apps account with one domain and one user. Previously, we tried to connect another domain to it as an alias to the main one and set up an additional e-mail for the same user. It is not known what went wrong, but now this is the situation: there is no new domain in the list of domains, you cannot create a mailbox on it, when you try to add the domain again, it says "This domain name is already used as an alias or domain." The domain itself is present in the webmaster panel at google.com/webmasters , its removal and addition did not affect anything there.
Can you please let me know if anyone has experienced this problem and if there is a way to fix it?

In general, for some reason a new account was created in Google Apps. Actually the problem was solved as soon as it was found out.
