How to connect a switch to a router with little blood?

Good afternoon. There is this ASUS RT-AC58U router and 20 computers. All computers need to distribute the Internet from the router via cable, and there are only 4 ports in it. Is it possible to connect a 24-port switch to one of the ports and plug 20 patch cords into it so that the Internet appears on all 20 computers. Perhaps you will advise the simplest switch without cool brains, interfaces and a bunch of settings that you can pick up and everything will work. ) Thanks in advance.

Absolutely any switch is suitable for your task. Take the simplest unmanaged one. The price will be within 2k (per 100 megabits). Gigabit, of course, is more expensive (but according to your description, you don't need it).

Any communicator with 24 ports is suitable for you, since there is not much equipment, and any piece of hardware can handle this task. The only thing you can take is a gigalan, because if you want to install a server, then the throughput should be decent.
