How to connect a stepper motor to this driver?

Stepper motor nema 17 with aliexpress, and the driver is like this https://www.chipdip.ru/product/raspberry-pi-motor-... , The
question is, which wires from the motor should be inserted into which output? and in general nema 17 is what kind of stepper is reactive or hybrid, unipolar or bipolar? Is it possible to connect it directly to arduino (without driver)? P.S. This is my first experience with connecting SD and everything seems complicated

Usually steppers are connected with 4 wires, that is, a pair of wires is one winding.
For steppers with 6 contacts, 2 are simply not used, in 99% of cases they are not needed.
There is also the concept of the beginning and end of the winding, but in real life it’s easier to connect at random and if it doesn’t work, swap it.
In your driver, 1 and 2 are one winding, and 2 and 3 are the second winding.
You take a tester and check which 2 wires from the motor are ringing among themselves, this will be the first winding, you can immediately tie these two wires in a knot so as not to forget later.
You connect these 2 wires to terminals 1 and 2, hang the remaining two wires to terminals 3 and 4.
Turn on the motor rotation program and see what happens.
If the motor rotates - guessed correctly.
if the motor jerks in different directions, but does not spin - turn everything off and swap wires 1 and 2, it didn’t help - turn everything off again and swap now 3 and 4.
If it doesn’t work at all, stop bullying and call someone for help.
