How to connect a product catalog with categories on the main page of an OpenCart store?
Good day everyone!
I am making my first store on opencart and there was a problem with the catalog, which should be on the main page and look like a table.
The logic is this: the table has tabs with companies, you can switch between them, each tab has categories and each category has products, respectively. The table consists of standard cells: Name, Price, Quantity (which can be changed with the buttons and text input) and the amount that is automatically calculated. After we have collected the quantity of goods we need, we click on the "Checkout" button and get into the basket, where all the goods that we wanted to buy should also be displayed in the form of a table, where you can also edit the quantity.
I laid out the pages and started to integrate the layout with OpenCart, figured out the functionality, but I can’t display the catalog on the main page exactly in the form that is in the layout, and, accordingly, I also had problems with the basket ..
To understand what is at stake, you can see the layout of the main page here , and the baskets here .
To summarize:
1. What module can be used to display the catalog on the main page as a table? (I tried the standard modules "recommended" and "categories", but here, rather, their joint functionality is needed)
2. If you had a similar task, could you tell in detail how you performed it?
3. Do you have a turnkey solution? I’m ready to share the payment for the project for a ready-made solution)
In general, the more details you can tell how such a catalog with a basket can be implemented, the better, because I’ve already looked through a bunch of topics with a similar task, but I didn’t find an answer, I can’t find information (or put it together).
