How to connect 4K TV to Wifi 5GHz?

Good afternoon,
I recently bought a 4K TV, but as it turned out, the 2018 model does not support Wifi 5GHz, which turned out to be a complete surprise for me. I tried to watch a 4k movie with a volume of about 60GB via 2.4GHz dlna, downloads every 10 minutes and the wireless keyboard and mouse start to shamelessly lag. In this connection, the question is, if you buy something like TP-LINK RE305 and connect a TV to it with a wire, will everything work fine? Keenetic Giga router (KN-1010), the hard drive is plugged into it.
I apologize in advance if the question is stupid, I haven’t used anything like this before, and there wasn’t a TV for 10 years.

If you set up Bridge mode, then yes. Although I would wire it directly.

It is much more correct to connect the TV directly to the router using a cable.
Connecting TP-LINK RE305 to a TV will not give you what you want, the TV will not be able to use 5GHz. It may be possible to configure the TP-LINK RE305 to receive a signal via wifi and send it via cable BUT this needs to be tested for performance.
Of the obvious disadvantages The speed of Ethernet ports is 10/100 Mbps for TP-LINK RE305.
