How to connect 2 monitors on Ubuntu 12.04?

Good day
For the second week I've been struggling with the task that our favorite distribution kit presented to me.
Given:

  • Ubuntu 12.04LTS
  • Nvidia GeForce GT 430
  • Bus Type: PCI Express x16 Gen1
  • Bus ID: PCI:1:0:0

2 completely identical working monitors:
  • LG Electronics E2241 (DFP-0)
  • LG Electronics E2241 (CRT-1)

Connected to graphics card
Operating System: Linux-x86_64
NVIDIA Driver Version: 295.40
Server Version Number: 11.0
Monitors connected in TwinView
xrandr configuration :
[email protected]:~$ xrandr
xrandr: Failed to get size of gamma for output default
Screen 0: minimum 3840 x 1080, current 3840 x 1080, maximum 3840 x 1080
default connected 3840x1080+0+0 0mm x 0mm
   3840x1080 50.0 51.0*

Problem:
The monitor working on DFP-0 perfectly transfers the picture, but the one that was supposedly determined by CRT-1 constantly ripples, creating a full-fledged epilepsy attack when working for a long time.
Any cable connected to this connector works the same way.
Checked on Debian 6 - same effect.

And CRT is a type of analog connection (D-SUB)? A DFP-digit?
If so, then the analog signal may be suffering from interference. It was on an external monitor for a laptop. The ripples were terribly annoying. When connected via DVI / HDMI - everything became cool.
I looked at the NV website, this card seems to have both DVI and HDMI. Try connecting both monitors digitally.

What is the resolution of the monitor? my vga (d-sub) full-hd also rippled hard, I connected the hmdi-dvi adapter to the dvi monitor output and everything worked well! True, I have Intel graphics and a laptop, but it can still wiggle like that ...

As a result, everything was decided by buying an hdmi 2 dvi cable. Issue closed, thanks everyone.
