How to configure MikroTik as accepting VLAN from ISP?
Good afternoon! I have a problem setting up Mikrotik from the Rostelecom provider. They sent me this information.
From the equipment of Rostelecom they give me a service in 654 vlan. I accept this vlan on my equipment (Mikrotik), it reaches the ports (in my equipment) where APs are included (also with a tag (tag)). The question is how to accept this VLAN on your microtic and how to reach it to pots (8 pieces) with the tga tag?

In order to leave comments, you need to log in
in winbox - interfaces, vlan, create the desired vlan there and hang it on the WAN port.
if you need to send it to several ports (as I understand it, Rostelecom will tag the Internet on all these ports, and not you), then just drive the necessary ports into the bridge with the wan port
and the created vlan into the same bridge (if I'm not mistaken)
Interesting, I'll check tomorrow, I need it to solve the issue of SMS authorization W-FI. Thank you in advance. Wan port, is this the port that the Internet gives? And here is the full text.
From our equipment, we give you a service in 654 vlan. You accept this vlan on your equipment (switch router) reaches it to the ports (in your equipment) where APs are included (also with a tag (tag)), on the controller in the SSID (wirless network) settings indicates this vlan (654), then everything should work. How can I organize it? Thanks in advance.
It depends on what and how you are currently configured on Mikrotik and points.
The provider's proposal is as follows.
Create VLAN 654 interfaces and bind them to physical WANs and LAN0-7.
Combine the created VLANs in Bridge
. On access points, create a guest network (2nd SSID) and indicate that traffic it will go to tag 654
