There are machines with Windows 7/Windows 10, no domain. It is necessary to configure Google Chrome in them using group policies, but the standard method through the registry, which is described even in the documentation , does not work at all, I mean the chrome.reg file from the archive with examples . The only thing that works is the "manual" setting of policies through administrative templates.

and if manual works, then what prevents automating batch file / ps1 from copying already configured adml admx to the necessary directories?
