How to configure file monitoring in zabbiz?

There are several servers on Centos, (Cpanel) you need to monitor the operation of the backup system. Check the number and size of daily backups. I thought to monitor 2 files with zabiks in which the values of the folder size, and the names of the folders. Draw a graph based on these two values (folder names by X sizes by Y), but it is not possible to feed this data correctly to Zabbix.
The data in the files is updated once a day using du and ls. The file gets an array of data, not a single value.
Or maybe there are ready-made solutions for such a monitoring plan.

And why should Zabbix be involved in this?
You can also set up a script on a server that will check for the presence of files, and if not, make a notification by mail.

Good afternoon,
I can recommend you pay attention to vfs.file.XXX. You can check if files exist, when they were modified, if they match regexp, etc. Here is more details.
A more flexible, IMHO, option is to use the UserParameter with an external script. The script is executed and sends the result to zabbix-agent. You, in turn, are free to configure the values returned by the script as you need, and on the server, attach triggers to them.

If you want to see this on one chart, then you need a bar chart and not a chart, and Zabbix cannot do this (we don’t count reports).
If you can control the contents of the files, you can fit it to the zabbix_sender format and send metrics to them. But you will have to create your own metric for each folder name. Again, you can create automatically through LLD.
