How to configure Cyrillic in nano on Debian?
There is a droplet on DO, Debian 10.2 x64. I can’t set up the Cyrillic display in nano in any way. I tried a bunch of instructions, nothing works.

Try going to /etc/locale.gen with vim/nano and sudo and uncomment all the language lines you need.
basically this file helps and adds support for all language formats.
I advise you to comment on the entire Russian-language layout except for utf-8,
then use sudo to launch the localization itself so that it is updated in the
sudo locale-gen system
and it will generate all localizations.
Reboot of the entire system is required, otherwise it will not work.
