How to configure backup to a network folder on the NAS in SQL2016, and how to properly schedule backups?

Hello. Can you tell me how to properly configure backup in
SQL2016 they took it purely for 1C bases, and planned to make a backup in the form of dt files once a month from the configuration, and put it in a network folder, and burn it to disks.
We are served by a separate company in 1C, but they do everything in the file version and don’t know anything about servers at all, we learned about this recently and signed an agreement a long time ago.
The question arose as to put these backups into a network folder connected on Windows as a disk, because. immediately SQL2016 does not see it. I enabled SMB on the network storage, I insert a link to the folder in the network storage in the backup settings on SQL Meneger, he seems to see it, but an error occurs. SQL is trying to use its account for authorization on the network storage, but I haven’t figured out which account it uses yet (if I didn’t understand the one under which I went to SQL Manager, I don’t understand which one). And the network storage has its own login accounts. In principle, I can add accounts to the NAS, but what should I add? ...
We don’t have a domain in our company, if anything.
The second question is the schedule of backups, we decided to make backups from SQL to a network folder and so that there was a backup for a year, for half a year, then for every month, and then make a backup every 3 days. Maybe someone knows how to do this through SQL Manager, I know that there is a scheduler and an agent that can do this, but I didn’t understand how to implement it in this way: Year, half a year, by month, and once every 3 days. As far as I know, the scheduler can simply look back and delete files that are more than a year old, or more than a month old. And how to implement it correctly in a combination has not yet caught up.
Thank you all in advance.
You can call it whatever you want, I won't be offended, the goal is "to make everything work...")))

Solve the issue of access to the account under which the SQL server is running (which one can be seen in the server settings).

Working option for saving to a network folder:
The user and password for the SQL Server service must be the same as the Login and password registered in the network folder for remote access.
Then you can easily run backups to a network folder through SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS)
AND through the configured SQL scheduler
