How to conduct technical analysis in MatLab?
At the university, they issued a matlab license and asked to conduct a technical analysis of any company. Take the data from Yahoo Finance.
But that's not the point.
How to do technical analysis (stocks, etc.)?
All that I found on matlab was just chatter like: stocks went back and forth, dumped, raised; what kind of "non-traders".
Namely, I can not find data for writing a written work.
The only thing I found is the OHLC model. And then there were questions about what to do with it ...
Maybe there are coefficients, as in Finn. analysis but, for stocks? Not just the names of models, etc., but what to do with them.
This subject was touched upon superficially, and the work must be carried out for the seminar and handed over in writing.
Thank you!

There are two meanings of technical analysis.
1) for traders (as opposed to economic analysis, i.e. news and economic indicators). A chart is drawn (OHLC or closing prices). Standard indicators (i.e. buy-sell signals or oscillators) are superimposed on the chart. Additionally, you can draw levels and channels.
2) statistical meaning. Standard stat. processing (average, deviation, other moments, outliers...), spectral analysis...
