How to compress many images from subfolders?

The bottom line - there is a parent folder of the app, it contains not a file of pictures, but subfolders (there are more than 7 thousand of them), in which just the desired pictures (1-2 pieces each).
These subfolders are found as jpg, jpeg, jpg, jpeg.
If you throw all these subfolders into FS Resizer, then it will put the .jpg extension on all files, respectively, most of the pictures will stupidly stop working when replaced.
And, actually, a question. How to massively compress pictures without loss, and not damage the original file name?
