I received an email with an activation code for iOS dev prog for a year.
Clicked, typed, got the message that I'm not identified:

We are unable to activate your Apple Developer Program membership because we are unable to successfully verify your identity. Please contact us and reference Team ID:---- for further assistance.
Question: How to complete the registration? What to provide them?

@alexyat , you are right, but the situation is slightly different - 2 years ago, when registering apple ID, I registered my first and last name in Cyrillic. And when registering in the developer program, I entered it in transliteration. Hence the hitch in identification.
I note that the support service solved the problem within one working day. Moreover, without my participation, they did not have to provide any documents, they even rewrote the data themselves. All that remained for me was to receive a letter with an activation code again, which this time got up without problems. ActivationComplete!

Such a letter is sent when the name of the person indicated in the Apple ID does not match the name on the credit card, and they are asked to contact them and provide identification documents (passport, driving license or international passport). Scan / photo of the page with a photo and a name and a separate photo where you hold it in front of your face with a spread with a photo.
