How to compile unmanaged dll using RGiesecke Unmanaged Export under Visual Studio 2008?

I added the Unmanaged Export project template version 1.1.3 to the templates. When I try to build the created project, I get the error Source file is UNICODE. The path to neither the project nor the user's home folder contains Russian letters.
