How to competently install Manjaro in parallel with elementary OS (and subsequently remove the extra one)?

Installed on trial elementary OS. I want to compare with something else (for example, Manjaro). Prompt the correct algorithm on steps with subtleties. In general, I can imagine what to do, but I am afraid of unaccounted for details and features. With disk partitioning, something always goes wrong. After installation, I want to remove one of them or freely switch between them (although the second option is probably meaningless). Thank you.

Bite off a piece of the disk and install Manjara there, the bootloader will find it.
Or raise it in a virtuoso and you don’t have to suffer at all.
