How to compare an image with an image and find the best match?
I try, I try myself in face recognition, there is an image of a face approximately 1500x2000 pixels in size, there is an average image of an eye 500x700 pixels in size. I run through four fors, that is, I find the best match for the image, something like a sliding two-dimensional window, but it’s been counting for 20 minutes already, and in films it’s not that the eye, but the faces are recognized within a few seconds, there is an idea to reduce both images in pixels by an order of magnitude. Either take the image of the eye in two for with a matrix of colors, or jump in steps greater than 1 pixel
