How to comfortably work remotely from one laptop after another?
Hey!
Such a question, I have 2 laptops, I work on both, let's say I went somewhere with one for a couple of days, but I need to go to the other, and do something in the environment, type documents.
How to properly organize work? So far, only TeamView is on my mind, but this means that one that cannot be turned off at home so that you can connect to it.

Dropbox + Git. Should be enough for everything.

If you are looking towards TeamViewer, then I advise VPN, but, again, the machine must be turned on. In general, I agree with the answer above, since when the machine is turned off, only remote storage (Dropbox) and / or remote repository (Git) will help
A VPN server is installed on the router, and inside do whatever you want: smb, ftp, wake-on-lan, rdp. Well, of course, you need a normal router and a white IP.
I agree with the opinions above. All of them are good. If this is Web development, I recommend a special service for this . It will give out a server machine on OpenVZ virtualization, if my memory does not fail me.
If some software is not tricky - create a git server or use the services of a private GitHub.
