How to close selection with tags?

Hello. I can’t think of a macro in any way or find such a plugin so that when I press the key combination, it automatically closes the text I selected in the tags I set .. For
example, (step 1) I select the text “hello, how are you”
(step 2)
text becomes<span class="pinyin">привет как дела</span>
