How to clone/migrate a Firefox profile?
I have a perfectly customized profile. Librewolf/Debian Browser I
really don't want to break it with experiments.
Root directory /home/dom/.librewolf/dyin7676.LW1
Local directory /home/dom/.var/app/io.gitlab.librewolf-community/cache/librewolf/dyin7676.LW1
Question1: If I copy these directories under a different name (let's say ..../dyin7676.LW2) will I get a clone of the profile?
Q2: How does a profile transfer between different machines/OS/browser versions?

About the transfer of the profile: the question is how old is the version of FF for which this profile is made.
Some time ago, Mozilla changed the profile format, and simply copying the folder stopped working.
But even in this case, you can create a new profile and copy key files into it: https://support.mozilla.org/ru/kb/vosstanovlenie-v...
Profiles can be created in about:profiles. You can also set the default profile there.
The folder of the newly created profile can be cleared and yours copied there.
You can simply make a copy of the profile folder and tell the browser on the command line --profile <path>.
