How to clean up an unwanted site from Chrome?
Good day everyone.
I noticed that when typing a certain word in the address bar of chrome, in the tips (those that immediately allow you to go directly to the site, bypassing Google search), a site (in the .ru zone) of an undesirable appearance falls out, although I’ve heard about it for the first time and have never visited anyone way.
I tried deleting my browsing history for 24 hours - it did not help. I went to Google's myactivity, tried to find this site there in the history - nothing, at the same time I deleted the entire history of visits / locations, etc. for all the time. Even after that, the site still showed up in tooltips. Complete deletion of history with all cookies, settings, etc. all the time - also did not bear fruit.
In other installed browsers (Opera, Edge, IE11) this site is not displayed, bookmark import is disabled.
Win10, Chrome 65.0.3325.146 - 64bit
Only 3 extensions:
React Developer Tools 3.1.0
uBlock Origin 1.15.2
Visual Event 2.1
Antivirus ESET Internet Security 11.0.159.9, fresh databases.
I ran Malwarebytes - I found several files related to DriverPack, but this is not what I need.
CureIt is also zero.
Actually, what else can be done to remove this site from the tips?
Thank you.
