If you catch viruses, then you probably do not follow the basic rules of Internet safety. See my recent answer.
In general, if I were you, I would do this now:
1) Formatted the hard drive, installed fresh Windows (not necessary, but highly desirable)
2) If you missed the first item, then check the computer with all sorts of utilities like CureIt and AVZ . Maybe now there is something better, I don’t know, I practically don’t use them. Then clean autoload.
3) Download Chrome/Firefox/Opera (to taste) and install WOT . However, I note that the green site != does not contain viruses, so be careful anyway.
4) Follow basic Internet safety rules
5) (perhaps most importantly) Make sure that everyone who has access to a computer complies with point 4.
To begin with, remove the shortcut, all sorts of rubbish clings to it very often.
Then see what add-ons you have installed, they can also be naughty)
And of course, adblock must have: D
If everything is completely sad, and all this, together with a full check with a good antivirus, did not help, I advise you to copy the bookmarks and reinstall the browser.
