I have always wondered - do people start to deal with such issues for reasons of simple curiosity, or are they given such a task at work? If the first - then why immediately after the advice in the forum, and not an elementary search on the Internet or reading a textbook. If the latter, then why not explain to the employer that you are not an expert in the subject?
And the information is not really a lot - books, web resources, courses, any textbook on machine learning contains a corresponding section or at least an example.
