How to choose the right position in a conversation with a client?
Hello everyone
I work on Upwork, quite successfully in my opinion, now there are two projects that completely fill my worktime, but I don't always understand how to behave with a client.
Here, for example, one says that he wants to see you at full time, which is impossible. How to behave? Chop off the shoulder and say that it is impossible, or, as one great man said, "If you criticize - offer"?
Or, for example, he asks to tighten up and work at night, which is not entirely appropriate
. I understand that the questions are very situational, but there may be some basic points that you can rely on.
Thank you

Main point: look for what you need.
This is freelancing, you are free to choose how you work and with whom. Work the way you feel comfortable. If something does not suit you, tell it to the customer, find a common denominator, if you don’t find it, say goodbye.
no positions as such. read about the Harvard talks.
this is the general solution.
ps
and learn Russian - "Here, for example, one says that I want to see you"
is he saying that you want to see me ?)
As correctly noted above, you are freelancing, work in a way that is convenient for you. If you want to see full time, specify what these terms are and indicate the rate for these terms (naturally, the rate should be higher, after all, you push other clients away, thereby undermining relations), but again, the rate should not be non-lifting if you are really ready work full time at an increased rate. And in the end, it all depends on whether you want to work with this client and go to meet him, or just ready to place orders, but nothing more.
There are no special options, say that now there are obligations to another customer, but in a month I will be free, and I will be able to devote more time to your projects.
I prefer to honestly show my pros and cons, and this dot the i's. Sincerity does wonders.
For full-time do not forget to take the corresponding payment. then many agree to work all day for a penny.
