How to choose the maximum screen resolution?

The problem is this. For some reason, the computer went to sleep while watching a movie. After rebooting it, the screen resolution got lost, and now it cannot be made 1920x1080. Only 1600x1200. And when you connect a TV via HDMI, the screen is duplicated, but stretched a little, and for which the start and time buttons are not visible (they go left and right, respectively). And when stretching the screens, the resolution on the TV is the right one, and on the computer it's complete nonsense. Reinstalling the drivers on the ATI radeon video card did not help. I can't get my screen resolution back to normal. Has anyone had such a problem? And did she decide later?

On the desktop, right-click, then screen resolution. Additional options and the "List of all modes" button. It should show the maximum resolution.
