How to choose literature on mathematics?

While I studied up to grade 9 with mathematics, everything was fine, then in grade 10-11 the teachers changed and everything went according to ... (well, you understand), nothing was really explained and we stupidly solved problems with the exam, in the first year there was only 1 semester passed "higher mathematics". I thought that I wouldn’t need a matan, but then I decided to do Olympiad programming (to learn how to invent and use algorithms + this is a good base), I’m also interested in a topic with in-depth learning, where there’s no way without a matan. I know that I need to learn probability theory, linear algebra, mathematical analysis ... and something else, there is too much material on the Internet and I don’t know which one to choose + I can’t find good problem books for practice.
