How to choose apn for one application?

There is a phone on a bucket, it has LotusTraveler on it to view work mail, you can only watch it through a service access point. Every time you have to go into the settings and change the access points manually.
Is it possible to tell the application through which access point to go?

it is unlikely to succeed if another Internet connection is already active, and if you need to see a “different” ip-address, it is better to use a proxy
