How to choose a macbook?

So I decided to switch to a macbook. Well, or at least try. Tell me which laptop to choose, I don't understand them at all.
1) The price, of course, is minimal (desirable), but not particularly critical.
2) The only thing I know is that they are like cars, every year there is a new version, albeit the same name. Do not mind the model of the previous year, if the performance is normal, the latest version of the system will work and it will be more economical.
3) Productivity. Ideally, the ability to edit short videos, but you can do without it. But it is necessary that it does not slow down on tasks like “100 open tabs in chrome”, or when viewing heavy photos. Games are not needed, a large volume of hard is also (I lived on a 32 gig ssd and it's fine). Autonomy is also not critical, the computer is home.
Links to sellers or shops are welcome. Who would like to sell?

Apple MacBook Pro 13" (MD101)
In my opinion the best model. The processor is already Ivy with reduced consumption and HD4000 graphics. The price is adequate, about 50t.r. for 4/500. The local seller has 47. The memory should be expanded to 16GB - OSX reacts very positively to free space and is now not expensive + 3500t.r. HDD should be replaced with SSD 120-250GB + 4-6t.r. It is better to place the hard drive in the box in place of the regular ODD (+1000r.) And in the power settings set the shutdown with minimal downtime. This is from practical experience in the service. Well, there is no place for HDDs in a beech under the system - they are too gentle for portable devices. And solid state drives give the system an incomparable responsiveness, this is also from personal experience. Beech is selected for his son in addition to Air, as soon as he goes to work and receives the first salary, for various CADs (builder). Air will carry it to the construction site with it and work at home on MBP (we have a small house). Good luck.

Get the latest 13" MacBook Air. You can even the one that comes with 8GB of RAM (but you have to wait until they deliver it). On the plus side, a 128GB SSD is basically enough for me to work and at home (you can connect to an external monitor and have a normal 1920x1200 and non-lag viewing of HD movies), a normal screen and a battery that lasts a long time: according to my estimates, 7-8 hours with wifi keeps the brightness lower average. The only video card is not as powerful as the competition, but I personally did not need it. The price tag in HK is about 1200USD. store.apple.com/hk/configure/MD231ZP/A

bought MBP late 2011, 13th, 4 Gb Ram, 500 Gb HDD = 40 tr.
From my own feelings - a larger screen is not needed, there is very little memory - I immediately increased it to 8 (it was enough for 10.7, 10.8 turned out to be more voracious), I installed an SDD from Intel with a 5-year warranty. Total cost me 50 tr, happy as an elephant.
2012 didn’t take because it’s expensive and it’s impossible to upgrade, and to be honest, this is too new a platform with new hardware flaws

For me, mobility and performance with a good screen resolution are critical (I also think it’s relevant for video editing).
If you do not consider the retina, then I will advise a 15'' firmware with Hi-Res Antiglare Widescreen Display (1680x1050) and SSD.
For prices, you can refer to website: store.apple.com/us/configure/MD103LL/A
And so I advise the aforementioned Air 13'' (1440x900). The stationary would not advise, because. Even when working at home, there are situations when I would like to take a laptop with me.

Air 13 mid2011
• Display resolution similar to Pro 15''.
• Optimal combination of price, performance, dimensions and display resolution.
• Slowly getting cheaper, after the recent update of the 2012 line.
• The OS can be updated for free.
• One drawback - there is still not enough RAM for professional tasks, but because of the difference in price, one and a half times, with the closest alternative to Pro 15 '' - I'm not too worried :).

Moved from Makbook Pro 2008 to Air 13 mid2011.
1) The price is the minimum.
2) My Proshka works to this day. Year 3 worked without dreaming of a new model. I switched to Air only because of mobility.
3) With a photo and surfing, it will definitely be enough for you for several years. I'm not fond of videos, but I converted several times without any problems.
The only negative is your last words. As a home Air, you still shouldn’t take it ... Unless you were going to work lying on the couch :)
