I choose a kit for signal amplification with Huawei E8372 + several Mikrotiks around the house.
The Megafon base station is located 2 km from the house in almost direct visibility (a small forest on the way, the top of the antenna is visible, it operates at frequencies of 1800 MHz and 2600 MHz), but the modem is now in the room next to the router, which degrades the signal. The Huawei E8372 modem does not support LTE-Advanced. It has LTE cat. 4 with a maximum speed of 150 Mbps. And he does not know how to aggregate frequencies.
At a distance of 2 km. there will be no special sense from a parabolic antenna with a feed. My advice: take a broadband panel antenna with a gain of 15-17 dBi. And it will be much easier to set up. And the cable is preferably no more than 5 meters. The very edge is 10 meters.
