How to check write speed?

Can you please tell me how to see the hard disk write speed on a dedicated server under CentOS 7?
I set it to make an archive of a folder in which there are a couple of million small files and for some reason writing to the archive occurs at a speed of 1-4 megabytes / sec.
It seems that the hosting specialist made me a low write speed so that I could switch to a more expensive server. How to see?

iostat from the systat package
In general, you are an evil pinocchio to yourself. A couple of million small files that are archived, that will take a long time to unpack. It's good that you don't transmit them directly over the network)
