How to check the broadcast status of a Periscope user?

Is it possible to somehow get a sign: is there a broadcast of a certain user at the moment or not.
As far as we know, the APIs from Periscope are not advertised much.

Hello. You can create a code with a user button that will display the status → periscope.tv/embed I am attaching
a photo of one of my projects (now closed) in which I used this button:
the button of the user who is broadcasting right now is highlighted in red.
