How to check if the wifi module is working?

Hello!
Acer Aspire 4220 does not see the wifi network after installing Win 7. I removed/installed the drivers manually, and completely removed/connected the adapter through the device manager. Nitsche does not help, at first it gives error code 1, after installing the driver, code 31. Atheros AR5007EG chip.
How can I check if the module itself is covered? Or maybe there are other tips.
