How to check if a user is authorized with aws-amplify?

For login I use this: await Auth.signIn(username, password)

With this I check: await Auth.currentAuthenticatedUser(). Even after authorization I get: The user is not authenticated. There are no errors during authorization. Everything is going well. The only problem is validation.
