you can make any folder the DocumentRoot of your site. Call it what you want.

The web directory can be painlessly renamed to www and everything will work, but!
There is a file /myProject/vendor/yiisoft/yii2/classes.php and it contains quite a few references to the former web directory of the form 'yii\web\Application' => YII2_PATH . '/web/Application.php', . And the question is, do I need to change the directory names in this file? Or maybe it's configured somewhere?
