How to change total commander settings?

In general, this is the situation:
1. I connect via total commander via FTP to the server and everything seems to be fine, but if I don’t show activity for at least one minute, then the connection breaks and the program writes - “restore the session?” (It writes something like this, literally not I remember), is it possible to configure so that the session does not end as in File Zilla?
2. In File Zilla, I can connect to the server and open a file directly on it, say html, and start editing it, for example, through sublime text - it turns out to be saved locally, after I saved the edited file, file zilla asks "replace locally edited file?
The question is - can it also be done in the total commander? Because as I understand it, when I open, edit, and then save the changes, it saves them locally, but does not upload them to the server and does not ask if I want to do this
