How to change the response time in JBL wireless headphones?

There are JBL wireless headphones. They have 3 buttons: volume up/down and Play/Pause. Also, a long press on the Play / Pause button turns on / off the headphones, and the side buttons switch tracks.
The problem is that in order to switch the track or turn on / off the headphones, you need to hold down the desired button and wait 3-4 seconds. It is too long. I don't know why the developers made such a long wait time.
What options are there to change this wait time?

You have latency lag.
Due to the fact that one of the devices has so-so bluetooth. In general, there can be many factors, but for you, try with a newer phone with bt5.
Most likely there is no way to fix it.
Actually, Apple is struggling with this, and their beats / airpods ears have minimal sound delays. And that is why they are in great demand.
