How to change the name of a Bluetooth device?
Good afternoon community.
There is a case:
Two apple 30-pin => bluetooth adapters were purchased on a well-known Chinese site. They were installed in two speakers, originally intended for iphone.
One system is installed in the bathroom, the second - in the kitchen. Since the adapters are the same, they appear in the list of paired devices on iphone under the same name. Is there a way to change this name? Is it possible to somehow "reflash" or "rename" a bluetooth device?
Furious googling yielded no results.
Thanks in advance.

Go to "Hardware and Sound" - "Devices and Printers". Select the Bluetooth device you want to rename, right-click on it and select "Properties" from the context menu. In the properties window, go to the Bluetooth tab. Editing to your liking. Click "Apply"
The device must be turned off and on , in order for the system to display it with a new name.
We go back to Devices and Printers (or press F5 if we didn’t close it) and we see a device with a new name
You can’t do it yourself, most likely you need to dump the device’s firmware, somehow change the name
and upload the firmware.
With the JBL column, the official application helped, through which you can rename. Perhaps there is something similar for your devices.
