The width of the map turns out to be adaptive, but the height remains unchanged and does not respond to changes in the size of the container; on mobile devices, the map just gets in the way. I read the documentation from Yandex, but still could not understand.

Well, you yourself set it a minimum height of 720 pixels. Reduce it on media queries as you need it to be on mobile
