How to change the default image when sharing a YouTube video?

With a standard video sharing from YouTube, if I enter an iframe, we get a default image of poor quality. Is there an easy way to change this picture to a custom one?
In my situation, it is necessary to expand the video to the full width of the screen, but the picture that YouTube itself displays is of poor quality. Advise how to make what would be displayed 1080 HD picture?
