How to change screen size in ubuntu?

I installed Ubuntu on the VirtualBox virtual machine, but the permissions there are too small.
I read articles on how to fix it, but those instructions do not work, since it is believed there that the operating system has access to the video card, but I have a virtual machine.
What should be written in the terminal?
Thanks in advance!

Honestly, "it should by itself" - you change the size of the window, Ubuntu - the resolution of the virtual monitor. VirtualBox Guest Additions, of course, should be on the guest.

VirtualBox Guest Additions does these things. If that doesn't help, try installing an older version of Boobunta. Or update VirtualBox itself.
